Dr. Arlela Bethel
For over 25 years, Arlela Bethel, has been a noteworthy leader in the field of Health and Human Services and Higher Education. Dr. Bethel is an experienced Behavioral Health Counselor who is committed to helping Improve the overall health and wellness of both adults and adolescents. She takes pride in providing empathic and congenial support to all individuals, whereby exploring therapeutic interventions to improve one’s mental health and quality of life.
Arlela Bethel holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling and Supervision from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Bethel is a published author and has presented at workshops and conferences on topics such as; “Loss and Grief in Foster Care and Enjoy the SKIN you are in!”
As a scholarly practitioner and human service professional; she considers it her responsibility as a clinician, to provide service that is genuine, and her personal goal is to obtain a balance in her life that is consistent with her educational values, ethical principles, and her professional goals and objectives. As a helping professional and behavioral health counselor, Dr. Bethel strives to remain steadfast in her ability to provide therapeutic interventions that are uniquely tailored to each individual’s needs. Ensuring that all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Furthermore, she believes that as a community we must begin to cultivate and nurture ourselves and embrace life’s challenges with an open mind and innovative solutions.
